Hollywood Park Introduces Design-Forward Residences With Modern Amenity Collections
In collaboration with acclaimed designers Kenneth Brown, Chloe Warner, and design architect Hart Howerton, the development will soon be home to two elevated rental residences, The Wesley and The Crosby
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Nov. 14, 2022) – Hollywood Park, the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States, has unveiled its first collection of residences located in its forthcoming retail and entertainment district. Hollywood Park is situated within Inglewood, a historic and vibrant greater Los Angeles community, and is being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke. The site will ultimately include up to 2,500 new residences with its first 314 commencing pre-leasing in January.
With prominent architects Hart Howerton and TCA Architects and interior design firms Kenneth Brown Design and Redmond Aldrich Design at the helm, the collection of residences range from studios to three- bedrooms, feature bright and airy living spaces with private balconies, expansive ceilings, and timeless design. The first two buildings, The Wesley and The Crosby, each aim to foster community and connection amongst residents by creating communal spaces that encourage engagement. In addition, the residences at Hollywood Park feature an unparalleled walkable location and will have immediate access to shopping, dining, sports and entertainment venues, public parks, and an entirely new office submarket.
“With the introduction of Hollywood Park’s initial residential phases, we are furthering Stan Kroenke’s vision to build a true destination for all of Los Angeles,” said Jason Gannon, managing director, SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park. “The designs of the residences highlight the curation and planning that went into building Hollywood Park, a city within a city, that uniquely delivers world-class sports and entertainment and enhanced lifestyle amenities across its 300 acres.”
Inspired by an eccentric and cinematic aesthetic, The Wesley’s use of color contrast and geometric patterns is palpable upon entering the main lobby entrance. Featuring expansive triple-height ceilings and intimate seating arrangements, residents will be welcomed into a whimsical and sophisticated atmosphere, complete with vividly upholstered furniture pieces, modern lighting, and timeless touches. A constellation of paper lanterns will adorn the lobby, serving as a motif for lighting installed throughout the building.
“Aside from creating a playful and elegant atmosphere, our main design objective was to create a true sense of place. We wanted to make The Wesley a destination where residents and guests feel a sense of home in the unconventional design elements and comfort in the natural textures and patterns that fill the space,” says Chloe Warner, Founder & Principal of Redmond Aldrich Design.
A modern amenity collection will consist of ample work-from-home spaces, outdoor dining areas, view-studded sky deck, spacious fitness studio, a vintage game room, landscaped spa terrace with private cabanas, pet spa, and more. Upon completion, The Wesley will feature sweeping views of Hollywood Park’s Lake Park.
The Crosby is enveloped in lush textures. The moody interiors include an array of wood tones, leather, clean lines, and large-scale mid-century furniture vignettes from notable designers like Christian Liaigre. Residents will be met with a custom-designed staircase featuring fine leather braiding overlooking exclusively commissioned contemporary art pieces by artist Amy Kaufman. Other standout features include lobby-adjacent workspaces outfitted with acoustical paneling, two landscaped resort-inspired courtyards designed to celebrate the best of Southern California weather and a cabana-lined pool and spa, private screening room, and curated fitness center.
“The best design always comes from a very strong and clear point of view,” says interior designer Kenneth Brown. “The Crosby is meant to embody a comfortable and functional residence juxtaposed with an unexpected mix of edgy materials and elements of relaxed West Coast living. The design is truly integrated so that residents experience living outside of their unit, serving as an extension of their home.”
“The development of our residences was inspired by the abundance of art, culture, and history in Inglewood, resulting in two sophisticated residences that feature purposeful design and one-of-a-kind living,” says Christopher Meany, Partner at Wilson Meany, Hollywood Park’s development manager. “This was an important element as we began to execute on Mr. Kroenke’s vision for the residential, knowing that Hollywood Park aspires to become top-of-mind for renters seeking storied collections of full-frill units with first-class amenities.”
When complete, residents of The Wesley and The Crosby will enjoy Hollywood Park’s dynamic line-up of restaurants, shops, recreational space, as well as close proximity to SoFi Stadium, the home of the Los Angeles Chargers and reigning Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams, with world-class events right at their front door. The Wesley and The Crosby will begin pre-leasing in January 2023.
